Men and brethren, life is made in a way that what we go through is what we grow through. It is the Sparkle of Hope. Therefore, it is through solving problems correctly that we grow spiritually. We are never given a burden unless we have the capacity to overcome it. If a great problem is set before you, this merely indicates that you have the great inner strength to solve a great problem. There is never really anything to be discouraged about, because difficulties are opportunities for inner growth, and the greater the difficulty the greater the opportunity for growth. The bible says that blind Bartimaeus was sitting down in his confusion and collecting arms from people, he was in a hopeless condition, he was in a condition where he lost his vision and was blind. He was in the midst of problems.

Have you ever been in a position where your vision of life is distorted? Have you ever been in a position where you eat from hand to mouth? Have you been in a position where your condition has made you a constant beggar? Have ever been in a position where everyone has abandoned you to begging in the land of your birth and maybe in another man’s land? Have you ever been in a position where people ascribe your problem to your name? That poor man, childless woman, mad son, that good for nothing worker, etc. They called Bartimaeus by the name of his problem -Blind Bartimaeus.

Have you ever been in a position where to eat is difficult, your parents begged and your grandparents were local beggars? Have you ever been in a position where people see your teeth and think you are smiling, thinking everything is fine with you but on the inside you are begging to be loved? Have ever been in a position where you pretend on facebook wall but your wall is collapsing? Have you ever sat at the highway of life void of direction of what to do next? Have you ever been in a position when you cry for help but men shun you? Have you ever been in the position when you are asking questions out of excitement your friends and enemies cajole you and make mockery of your good intentions? Have you ever been in a position where your enemies are multiplied, where many became the hindrance to your glorification?

Bartimaeus heard that Jesus was passing by, apparently he had heard about Jesus and the wonders of God. He got excited. ‘Jesus thou son of David. Have mercy on me’. Right where you are, hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. In the kingdom of possibilities and miracles, you must be excitedly excited to receive from Above because ‘excitement is the climax of hope’. Therefore, the level of excitement of your input determines how great shall be your harvest.

The more they shunned him, the more he cried out. He told himself, this may be my only chance; I need to play my last card. Bartimaeus saw them as stepping stone, he became more excited, his hope got to climax, his hope was heard, and his hope became an unquenchable voice, unstoppable voice, unmolestable voice.

When the hope in him got to the climax, Jesus heard. There was a separation of the voice of the crowd from the voice of one man in the crowd. When the excitement could not be limited or disrupted, he got an invitation. The excitement was still great as he threw away his garment, he threw away the thing that gave him false joy, and he threw away the false coverage of his blindness and came to Jesus with one mandate. ‘That I may see’. The master who went about doing good by divine excitement, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, asked him; what do you want me to do for you this new month?

Right where you are, what do you want from this Awesomely Awesome God? For the bible says ‘with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3. Do you know that the baby in Elizabeth womb got excited at the voice of Mary and caused Elizabeth to prophesy? Excitement brought back the ministry that was blinded by childlessness. Jesus said to Bartimaeus your faith has made you whole, in order words your excitement has made you whole. Be excited in his presence
