Awesomely Awesome God, thank you for bringing me to the first season of 2016, let the blessings come and let my package be delivered. I desire today and throughout my life on earth to live for you
You are my healer and my deliverer. I will be still in the midst of life turbulent. Lord, I desire to become intimate with you and to draw closer to you. Teach me how to have a relationship with you in the presence of the Holy Spirit to do business with you in the atmosphere of business as my Prince of Peace.
Father, I declare my loyalty and commitment to you this day by PRAISE and I ask You to reign over my life. Lord, in this first season of wonders of the year 2016, I place all my cares and burdens upon you because You live, all fear is gone. I carry my burdens no more.
Lord, make my life completely whole and stagnation free and humiliation free. Let me see your tender mercies in all I do this month and this year.
Father, the scripture declares that my deliverance rest upon my testimony and the blood of Jesus. I stand by the blood of Jesus to declare, that I am ready to confront whatever that confronts my future, my destiny, my health, my finances, my family in 2016. I shall be creative in speaking life into my life. I shall hold nothing back in my testimony; I shall see favour and increase.
When others will say there is a casting down, I shall say and see a lifting up. I shall use my gifts wisely, I shall dream godly dreams, and every demon sent to distract, block my vision or disorganize me, let the blood trouble them in Jesus name
Father, I stand to pray for my nation Nigeria (Pray for your nation) because when the righteous prosper, the city rejoices, and when wicked perish there are shouts of joy. May every wickedness of the wicked come to an end in this land, and may the waster be wasted. Marriage from godly perspective is good and opens door to enduring favour; Therefore, Father, I plead for God’s mercy over every wrong step I have taken in life, especially marriage, career, school. I ask you to cleanse me of self-guilt by the blood of Jesus and to redeem my lost joy. Daily Wisdom Devotion: The Masterpiece to Greatness
Proverbs 15:32-33, Genesis 2:16-17, Genesis 3:8-19, 1 Corinthians 1:27-29, Matthew 2:13-14
Men and brethren, the word of God gives wisdom; wisdom gives direction, and direction is the masterpiece to greatness. When you follow divine instructions, nothing will be impossible for you but when you disobey the instruction you receive from God, you become attracted to failure and humiliation. It is a fact that most people allow impressions, emotions, or other pressure-packed forces to influence them when they are about to take minor or major decisions. The question remains, how do you make a solid, reliable decision without negative influences? Let me quickly say that God speaks by the scriptures, signs, circumstances, by times and seasons, by dreams, vision and prophecy. The great news is that, our awesomely awesome God goes step by step. Though He knows the end from the beginning, He does not tell you the destination right away. All He wants to tell you is one step at a time. And the Lord God Almighty orders each step. There is no time that God does not speak. We must therefore be in God to be able to relate and understand signs and divine directions. Also, we must value life by living in obedience to divine instruction.
Right where you are, until a person is born again of the Spirit of God, he is unteachable and has no desire to receive any spiritual instruction. The bible also adds that “He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.” Proverbs 15:32-33
Adam knew by the intelligence of God in him that the only way to exercise dominion in the garden and control all the creatures was by keeping fellowship, unbreakable fellowship with God. As expected, he went blind when he broke the laws of the fellowship. God believes in purity and holiness. Genesis 2:16-17, Genesis 3:8-19
Divine instruction will always command divine direction. No matter how well prepared an individual is for an examination, failure to follow examiner’s instruction can lead to overall failure. In the same vein whenever an individual fails to follow God’s instruction, that individual will be going round in circles like a blind horse without any meaningful headway. As you abide in His will, may you never be stagnant in life in Jesus name.
Abraham was so faithful that God counted his obedience to instructions as righteousness. He followed instruction to the point of even sacrificing his son. The beautification of destiny is that we are not required to know the full details. And whenever God gives an instruction, He gives you the step by step procedure of what should be done. These steps are not usually easy to follow because they may look or sound stupid to the ordinary eyes or ears. “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty”1 Corinthians 1:27-29. How would you explain filling jars with water when wine was required at the wedding banquet John 2:1-11 or how would you comprehend the blowing of trumpets to bring down the thick wall of Jericho? Joshua 6:1-5.
How would you try to understand Noah building an ark on a dry land? When men were celebrating sin, Noah got instruction to build a mighty ark -Genesis chapter six to chapter eight. Therefore heaven declares “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD (Isaiah 55:8). Anyone who wants to have divine encounter with God and provoke miracles must be a person who readily follows His instructions, word for word, letter for letter while paying attention to every detail. Any omission which may arise from trying to over-process your God-given instruction would only amount to disobedience.
One of the keys to unlocking God’s direction is by acknowledging Him in all our ways. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5). Many think that God’s paths are full of lack. That is not true. Just because you have not seen abundance doesn’t mean that God’s paths are not abundant. The Bible says, ‘You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance’ (Psalm 65:11). When we are in God’s direction, we are heading towards abundance. It may not feel like it, it may not look like it. But the Word of God says, God’s path drip with abundance. Let not the devil talk you out of that word. Our God is not a God of lack. He is a God of abundance. His paths drip with abundance. All you want to be is, in His path. God’s word is final.
Understanding divine instruction is another key to the supernatural living. When God sends you to a city, if you decide to go to a village, you will be displaced in destiny. If you don’t want to be stagnant in your mission, you must go exactly where you were sent.
A third key is swiftness. The speed at which you respond to a divine instruction determines if you will benefit from that instruction or not; it also determines if you will lose out or not. When an angel of God appeared to Joseph to take Jesus and Mary to Egypt because Satan entered Herod, the Bible says, that same night, he responded immediately to the instruction Matthew 2:13-14. If you’re instructed to go to the city, your speed will determine your divine connection. Likewise, if heaven has directed you to sow or give, when you hurry and give cheerfully, you will receive bountifully.
How do we know God’s directions?
Number One: Prayer: Look at the prayer of David, a man after God’s own heart. David was a king but yet He had the time to pray to the Lord God Almighty to show him His ways and teach him His paths. ‘Show me your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths’ (Psalm 25:4). Direct my steps by Your Word (Psalm 119:136). Take God at His word when you pray. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye (Psalm 32:8). Tell Him, ‘Lord Jesus, I am here to ask for your directions in my life’. I do not want to go in my path but take me in Your ways, Lord. You will soon see God coming through.
Number Two: Word of God: God’s word is the lamp unto your feet and a light to your path (Psalm119:105). After you have prayed, do not expect a prophet to come out, and put his hand on you to give you prophesy? That may not always happen. That is not always the way God wants to work. Expect God to reveal things from His heart to yours. He wants you to know His ways from His word. So while you are going through the Word of God, listen to the Holy Spirit for revelation from the word, write down the impressions and ideas He gives you. Let the truth He reveals to you settle in and begin to work in you. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Number Three: Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit: The thing that we need to understand is that we cannot hurry God into anything. The Bible calls it ‘waiting’. There is something called waiting upon the Lord that is so important in our spiritual walk. The Holy Spirit talks in a still small voice right in your heart. He loves to talk to us. When our heart is in the right place, we sure will hear Him speak to us. Isaiah 30:21 says, ‘Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it.” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left”. Jesus said in John 10:27 says, ‘My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me’. We need to fine tune our spiritual ears all the time so that we can hear Him. Hebrews 8:10-11
Number Four: The Prophetic. They include word of knowledge, word of wisdom, personal prophecy: “Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good” (I Thessalonians 5:19-21).
Number Five: Godly counsel: “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14).
Number Six: Confirmation: “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every fact may be confirmed” (Matthew 18:16). “And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45
Number Seven: The peace of God: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful” (Colossians 3:15).
Number Eight: Circumstances/Timing: “After these things he (Paul) left Athens and went to Corinth. And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, having recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. He came to them, and because he was of the same trade, he stayed with them and they were working; for by trade they were tent-makers” (Acts 18:1-3 — this relationship between Paul, Aquila and Priscilla — which happened as a result of circumstances — became one of the most important strategic partnerships in the book of Acts).
Number Nine: Through Dreams and Visions: Dreams often challenge us to change just as Jacob was challenged to change. There are many examples in the Scriptures of God’s bringing comfort and hope through visions and dreams. The Lord appeared to Abraham in a vision and promised him an heir (Genesis 15:4). Joseph’s dream story shows us the importance of praying carefully before we share our dreams. Genesis 37:5-11. “Indeed God speaks once, Or twice, yet no one notices it. In a dream, a vision of the night, When sound sleep falls on men, While they slumber in their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction.” Job 33:14-16
Many times the Lord will confirm His direction to us through three, four or more of these keys — especially when we are in the process of making an important, life-changing decision. The bottom line, is that big decisions take big prayer. In other words, as we humble ourselves before the Lord, seek His guidance in our lives, the Good Shepherd will be faithful to lead us, “…in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake” (Psalm 23:3). I declare, from this new month you will be favoured and increase in favour with God and man.
Concluding Prayer of The Masterpiece to Greatness: Awesomely awesome God, I am forever Yours. Lord, grant me the masterpiece to greatness through divine wisdom. Please open my eyes to see where you would lead me. Awaken my ears that I would hear your voice guiding me. Watch my feet that I would tread upon your kingdom paths. Lord, show me favour and guide me in all my affairs. And when I cry out from my heart being overwhelmed because of the pressures of life, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Father, even in the midst of my storm let Your hand lead me, and Your right hand uphold me. Instruct me in the way I should go and let Your eyes guide me as You teach me to do Thy will in Jesus’ powerful name I pray, Amen.
