God instituted the home for peace, love, joy and progress. Therefore, God’s Word has a solution to every family problem, but many refuse to obey divine instructions. Find time to examine your heart and as God’s Wisdom and instructions are made available to you, make the necessary changes and enjoy peace.

Singles, as a future daughter-in-law, son-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, father-in-law or mother-in-law, you need to learn from the story of Ruth. Love makes it possible for you to relate successfully with all categories of men including your in-laws –both the “loveable” and the “unlovable”.

Spouse, genuine and sincere hospitality brings with it great rewards. God’s Word says: The liberal soul shall be made fat (Proverbs 11:250). Therefore, be sold out to hospitality, because it’s the path to God’s presence in your marriage and home.

Some spouse instructs their children not to make use of abusive words, but they shout abusive words at their husbands or wives and people who get on their nerves. They commit all manner of atrocities, and yet teach the Word of God to their children. Remember that an ounce of example is worth a ton of preaching. You may think that they are too young to know what is happening, but they see the way you sit with your friends gossiping; that is a bad example.

Don’t claim to be too busy for your children. Whatever seeds you sow in their lives today will bear fruits tomorrow. Take responsibility

If you are a spouse that looks for faults in your marriage, you are looking for trouble. Proverbs11:29 startled me. It says: He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart. Be wise

In marriage, whatever money you have belongs to both of you. Money has put many homes asunder; don’t let it put yours asunder.

Finally, to fulfil God’s purpose for your marriage the first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Number two: To be a keeper and a solution provider requires the grace of God and to access that grace, you must be born again. If you want to be born again you need to say this prayer:

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today as a sinner. Forgive me of my Sins. I believe You died and rose on the third day for my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”
