Marriage is a serious commitment that requires wisdom and understanding to flourish.
Singles, don’t conclude that since you have waited for so long and have not gotten the right person to marry, you are now ready to marry whoever comes, even an unbeliever. Here me, how long you have waited is not as important as the success of your marriage. There is no need to rush into a thing that will not last. Remember, God cannot forget you because He cares for you. Wait for His time. The fact is, until true love comes, learn to celebrate and enjoy your singlehood. Don’t rush love, and don’t settle for less.
Spouse, your partner is not perfect. Your duty is to protect his or her weakness and not use it as a tool against him or her at slight provocation. A word harshly spoken kills the momentum of marriage and happiness. If you have spoken such killing words against your partner, repent today and apologise.
Spouse, no matter seeing the wrinkles and grey hair on your Partner, you must fall in love with your partner every morning and show how much you love him or her by your actions. People who operate in this level are already living their heaven on earth marriages, while others who don’t require Gods mercy
Husband, Communication isn’t just an important part of a relationship, it is the relationship. You must not go into fasting of not communicating with your wife, doing that kills her feelings for you. The rule for being a good communicator also lies in the willingness to hear her because we do not always need a busy mind that speaks, just a patient heart that listens.
Finally, to fulfil God’s purpose for your marriage the first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Number two: To be a keeper and a solution provider requires the grace of God and to access that grace, you must be born again. If you want to be born again you need to say this prayer:
“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today as a sinner. Forgive me of my Sins. I believe You died and rose on the third day for my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”
