Men and brethren, you must be willing to be viewed as a fanatic to pursue your relationship with God and practice your faith. Could your enemies say of you that they could find no fault, no “corruption,” and no “negligence”? If so, this is proof that we have not “given ground” to them. Ephesians 4:27 declares, “Do not give the Devil a foothold.” Daniel didn’t, and it worked for him. That is why the Lions became his partners and did not touch him Daniel 6:22. Obedience to God is really a function of a determination to surrender completely to God and the key to frustrating your enemy and their plans against your life. Once a person decides to fully and absolutely surrender body, soul and spirit to God, then God will take immediate control of their life and lead them in the specific direction that He desires. This process of divine elevation begins with obedience – Obedience to the instruction to give your life to Christ and obedience to the instruction to love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul. If you obey God, He is willing to guide you in making every decision in life; leading you to who you will marry, which business partner you will have, which course to study, what job to do, and so on. He will perfectly lead you into your true divine calling in Him.

Right where you are, the best way to become prosperous is to obey divine instruction. Peter and the Lord Jesus were accused of not paying their taxes in the Bible, and deciding to pay the tax, Jesus Christ instructed Peter in the book of Mathew 17:27. “Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”. Peter obeyed the instruction and was able to pay the tax, thereby avoiding trouble with the authorities.

Are you thinking you are going to fail and be in that experience for a very long time? No! You are going to come out of it. Look at your life again and bring everything in opposition to God’s obedience. As long as you are in obedience, doors will continue to open for you. Your fulfilment, impact and relevance in this kingdom are tied to your ability to obey God and respect His principles and obedience is the highest level of holiness.

It takes obedience to see God and to be blessed by God. We can have any kind of thoughts and things that can threaten and intimidate us. You can have phone calls which you cannot explain and dreams you cannot tell anybody. Scripture says, the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8. Listen, trials will come, but you must bring them to the full obedience of Christ. If you know that you are a child of God, you are a covenant seed on the throne. Therefore, consciousness of Jesus’ life in your life is all you need to subdue every force of disobedience against you and your obedience commits God and provokes His redemption.

Your life is a testimony of God’s power and a reflection of His goodness. When the devil knows that you know your identity, he will bow. You are in honour and not in dishonour. You are here in the covenant to reveal the glory of God. The devil comes to us when our mind is full of fear but we become full of God when our mind is saturated with His promises. God is looking for those in the covenant who will be so full of Him and remind Him of His promises concerning them. May Heaven grant your heart desire.

It is not possible to be holy without being obedient to God. It is not possible for you to walk with God successfully when you refuse to obey His instruction. One of the biggest keys to success in life and ministry is obedience. When you obey God, it is a sign of divine direction. God wants to be our guide, and our guard, however if we do not trust Him, we will not obey His directions. This 2021, determine to obey Him absolutely. God is the beginning and the ending. Until you arrive at the point of obedience, you will remain in pains of life. Obedience is an expression of the fear of God. It is not saying that you are weak or stupid or foolish. It is just an indication that you fear God. Never allow yourself to do what God is supposed to do for you. Obedience is defined as walking and living in the fear of God. Obedience keeps you in faith of God and disobedience binds you in fear of the unknown. I declare, God will fight your battles

God is waiting for what is going to come out of your mouth to know what is best for your life. Watch your mouth this 2021! God said, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19. Your obedience will make a way for you. When you stop obeying, God will stop acting. God is ready to deal with every sin of disobedience that is against you, when your obedience is complete in Him.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you” John 15:7. If you remain in self-justification, you will remain in your pain. Elihu said to Job, “Will you justify yourself to put God in error? Far it be that the Almighty shall be wrong.” Job 40:8. I want to say to you that God can never be wrong. Most times, we just feel that we have a problem. Our problem is within us.

Your daily experience makes you a message to your world. Everything that is happening around you has a message in God’s plan for your life. At times, we pray, “God use me for Your glory.” God can use you for His message as an answer to such prayers

Life is very painful and very tempting but God is the only answer. Your pastor may not even have the answer but God has the answer. He is saying, “You must put on the readiness.” God is much ready, as much as you are ready. As much as you have made everything in and around to obey God as Christ in you, God is ready. The Bible says, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians1:27). God is ready to do what He wants to do as God when you are ready to do what you should do as His child. No matter the amount of mistakes you have made in life, and no matter how far you have gone, God remains the answer. Everything shall work as long as you are in obedience. May you not take the option of experiment! May you stand in the covenant! As long as you are breathing, may God remain the last solution in your heart!

King Solomon made some terrible errors of life but in his farewell speech, he said, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Ask God to humble and frustrate every disobedience, frustrating and hindering your agenda for your life in Jesus name. Amen
