Declaration for September: Father God, this month of September 2020 is declared my month of Praise. It shall be a season where the battles in my life that appear obviously mightier than my strength, and tougher than my wisdom will bow to fearful praise. Father, you dont “try” to take over; you actually take over and when you take over, my battle is over. As I praise you this month, grant me fearful blessings, and take over my battle, disgrace my mockers, end the sickness that has troubled the world. I declare, I will never experience a setback again because I will be going from strength to strength; from exploits to exploits; I will be going from glory to glory in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Weekly Partners Declaration: This week marks entrance to my special season for miraculous encounters. The week shall deliver to me everything good, every total package and total health. It is my week of honour and coronation because I am born to rule and control creations within my grace jurisdiction. I am not limited; I am not in restriction but flowing in enlargement and in abundance. This is my week where those who mocked me in the past shall celebrate me. As I partner with this commission, it shall be a season of laughter and celebrations in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Daily Wisdom Devotion: Fear and Torment
Philippians 4:13, 1 John 4:18, Psalm 23:4, Deuteronomy 31:6, Isaiah 41:10, Matthew 10:28
Men and brethren, everyone has some sort of fear. But with the proper mindset, determination, will power and faith in God, you can conquer your fear. Fear of man or fear of people is a common struggle for many people. We can exercise replacing fearful thoughts with faith-filled thoughts – just like a warrior would exercise before going into battle. Stepping out, and forging past the unhelpful thoughts, can be a daily battle. Don’t listen to the devil who might whisper in your ear ‘Who do you think you are? You can’t do that.’ Replace that with the truth that ‘I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me.’ Philippians 4:13. Be empowered.
Are you going to let fear take over your life? Will you remain a hostage of your fear forever? You must take the necessary steps to overcome your fear. “because fear hath torment” 1 John 4:18
Do you envy other people when you see them enjoying wild rides, and you’re just stuck in a corner because you’re too terrified to give it a try? My suggestion is to face your fear head-on. Imagine yourself enjoying the experience instead of exaggerating the things that make you worry
Do you want to be an engineer, a business man or woman, a doctor or whatever but you’re afraid that your intellect can’t handle the pressure or you’re worried about financial insecurity?
Well here’s the good news. If you’re really determined to achieve your deepest desires, a powerful force is here that will enable you to reach them amidst every obstacle that comes in the way. God will always be there to help you attain your goals. Just have faith in your abilities. There is a seed planted in every believer by God with utmost capacity to make you accomplish anything with the proper mindset.
Are you afraid of heights? Then imagine yourself being on top of a mountain, overseeing the magnificent sights. Enjoy and feel the moment. Take away all worries and anxieties. Then just do it! Face it head on! Go to the top of a building and savour the great feeling of being able to face your fear.
This applies to whatever thing that triggers your fear factor. Just imagine being able to defeat it, then confront it with the definite belief that you have the capacity to do everything you want if you just put your mind to it. Face the thing you fear the most and you’ll never have to fear anything again in your life.
Boy oh boy, everything you want is on the other side of fear. Don’t ever hesitate to give yourself a chance to be everything you are capable of being. Fear is only as deep as your mind allows. You can still be in control of your circumstances because God is in your boat. Courage doesn’t mean you don’t get afraid; courage means you don’t let fear stop you. Let me shock you by showing you what fear can do to you and your destiny according to Brother Marc
Number One: Fear can rob your true path and purpose – There is not a clear path that everyone should follow. Your greatest fear should not be of failure, but of succeeding in life at all the wrong things. Choose a path that fits YOU. Those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it. Challenge yourself to ask with each and every step, and each focus point that consumes your energy: “Does this thing I’m doing right now truly serve me and those I care about in the next few minutes, few months, and few years?” Whatever you settle on, just make sure you don’t gain the whole world by losing your soul and purpose in the process
Number Two: Fear can rob you self-respect- Don’t be too hard on yourself by dwelling in fear of not being good enough. There are plenty of people willing to do that for you. Do your best and surrender the rest. Tell yourself, “I am doing the best I can with what I have in this moment. That is all I can ever expect of anyone, including me.” Love yourself and be proud of everything you do, even your mistakes, because your mistakes mean you’re trying. If you feel like others are not treating you with love and respect, check your price tag. Perhaps you subconsciously marked yourself down. Because it’s YOU who tells others what you’re worth by showing them what you are willing to accept for your time and attention. So get off the clearance rack. If you don’t value and respect yourself, wholeheartedly, no one else will either.
Number Three: Fear can rob your ability to make concrete decisions – You cannot live your life at the mercy of chance. You cannot stumble along with a map marked only with the places you fear, or the places you know you don’t want to revisit. You cannot remain trapped, endlessly, in a state where you are unable to ask for directions, even though you’re terribly lost, because you don’t know your destination. You have to commit to goals that speak to you. You have to stand up, look at yourself in the mirror, and say, “It isn’t good enough for me to know only what I DON’T want in life. I need to decide what I DO want.”
Number Four: Fear can rob your Priceless opportunities and life experiences – People have a hard time letting go of their suffering. Out of a fear of the unknown, they prefer suffering that is familiar. Fear of change and discomfort. You continually put your dreams and goals off until tomorrow, and you pass on great opportunities simply because they have the potential to lead you out of your comfort zone. You start using excuses to justify your lack of backbone. This is a vicious cycle that leads to a deeply unsatisfying life – a way of thinking that eventually sends you to your grave with immense regret. Regret that you didn’t follow your heart. Regret that you always put everyone else’s needs before your own. Regret that you didn’t do what you could have done when you had the chance.
Number Five: Fear can rob your happiness and peace of mind – If you keep looking for happiness outside yourself, you will never find it. Happiness is found from within. What you seek is not somewhere else at some other time; what you seek is here and now, within you. The more you look for it outside yourself, the more it hides from you. Relax, remember the source of your deepest desires, and allow yourself to know their fulfillment. A choice, not circumstances, determines happiness. Each morning when you open your eyes, say to yourself: “I, not external people or events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. It’s up to me. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow hasn’t come yet. I only have today and I’m going to be happy in it.”
Number Six: Fear can rob your willingness to love, truly and purely – Although it is nice when gestures of love are returned, true love is one-way traffic. It’s a pure flow of giving and expecting nothing in return. Anything else is a contract. Notice how whenever you allow love to flow you are always clear, calm and strong. It is only when the thought arises, “What have they given me in return?” that there is confusion and resentment. Ego transacts, love transforms. Life is too short for all these meticulous contracts and transactions. Look out for yourself by focusing your love in a direction that feels right to you, but once you decide to love, remain clear, remain bright, and remain strong. Love without expectation. Don’t let fear get in your way. When the love you give is true, the people worthy of your love will gradually reveal themselves over time.
Number Seven: Fear can rob you of the right company – Sometimes, no matter how much love you give, some relationships simply aren’t meant to be. You can try your hardest, you can do everything and say everything, but sometimes people just aren’t worth stressing over anymore, and they aren’t worth worrying about. It’s important to know when to distance yourself from someone who only hurts you and brings you down. When you give your love to someone, truly and purely without expectation, and it’s never good enough for them, there’s a good chance you’re giving your love to the wrong person. Spend time with nice people who are smart, driven and like-minded. And remember, good relationships are a sacred bond – a circle of trust. Both parties must be 100% on board. If and when the time comes to let a relationship go, don’t be hostile. Simply thank the relationships that don’t work out for you, because they just made room for the ones that will. Here are more scriptures against fear.
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
“The LORD is my light and my salvation– whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life– of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
“The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” Psalm 118:6
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7
“You who fear him, trust in the LORD– he is their help and shield.” Psalm 115:11
“But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children” Psalm 103:17
“Praise the LORD. Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in his commands.” Psalm 112:1
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
“David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.” 1 Chronicles 28:20
“When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?” Psalm 56:3-4
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
“For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13
“Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.” Isaiah 54:4
“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28
“For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “”Abba,” Father.” Romans 8:15
“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.” 1 Corinthians 16:13
“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6
“Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened.” 1 Peter 3:13-14
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18
Finally, we have an advantage against our enemy’s deception with a greater level of discernment that anxiety, panic attacks or worry are not in God’s nature, nor does He use it to speak to people or motivate them. Therefore in summary:
1) Fear is met and destroyed with courage.
2) When you face your fear, most of the time you will discover that it was not really such a big threat after all.
3) Fear defeats more people than any other one thing in the world.
4) Most of our problems would be totally solved if, instead of fearing to face them, we should make up our minds to walk boldly through them.
5) Whenever we’re afraid, it’s because we don’t know enough. If we understood enough, we would never be afraid.
6) Whenever we fear something, we give that which we fear power over us.
7) You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
8) Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear–not absence of fear.
If you’re at one of these crossroads in your life, let me encourage you to go forward. Don’t stand still in terror, but take His hand and go forward. Remember; fear torments and God wants to deliver you from all of your fears.
