Men and brethren, your conscience is the engine of your entire life. It is also the shock absorber of your life. When your conscience dies, your ability to live a godly life becomes dead and so is your greatness. Therefore, every progress in life begins in the mind and it takes a right conscience to influence conscience into right things. The scripture says “Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.”1 Peter 3:16. It is worth knowing that shame produces reproach and this feeling has its root in the conscience. Therefore, the flesh and the spirit are always in contrast. These are two parallel aspects of human life.

The first Adam, originally, was designed and created not to know evil but good Genesis 3:1-6. His conscience was to feel good and enjoy the fellowship of God. Satan knew that the only strategy to separate man from God is by altering his thought pattern and creating confusion in the conscience. Hear him, “For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil” Genesis 3:5. Satan, before this time, was the only being on the earth who knew evil and good. Why? He had seen the heavenly glory but rebellion brought him down to live eternally on evil. He just simply needed companion in his camp. This scheming of the enemy begins in the conscience of man. Boy oh boy, every man’s struggle lives within his conscience.

Right where you are, sin is first built in the conscience; failure is also built in the conscience and righteousness and success are also built in the conscience. Apostle Peter lays emphasis that a good conscience is the antidote to victory over deformity and reproach. A good conscience lives in justification in spite of eternal attack on it. When people resolve to conspire against you, tell lies against you, mock you by what you are passing through, you should rejoice and praise God. This positive mental attitude will put your mockers in shame. Remember that what goes on in the inside of you will determine what comes around you. Be strong in the inside of you. Begin to set your conscience to anticipate the delivery of the reward and harvest of your labour because this is your season of uncommon event.

The conscience of man is the engine of inspiration. Life is a world of influence. The condition of the conscience of people in a place, be it school, home, office or church will influence what goes on around the place. Right things, like peace, are usually influenced by right conscience and wrong things are influenced by wrong conscience. Accusations, most time are built on the motions or prompting of the conscience. Issues of life are first and foremost recognized by the motions of the conscience. Our outward reactions are the expression of our inward instructions. Destinies are wasted by human judgment because conscience is not convicted. Some of our leaders have plundered the nation’s wealth because their conscience is dead. Romans 13:5, 1 Timothy 1:5-9, Hebrews 10:22

Whatever situation you do not overcome in your conscience, you are not qualified to overcome on earth. This month, allow the Spirit of God to motivate your conscience to start receiving an end of the year harvest. Active conscience is the basis for active impact on destiny. It takes a righteous conscience to heal and overrule unrighteous judgment. When your conscience is right before God, He will make situations to honour your voice. Do you know that, the issue of the woman found in adultery became a problem that announced Jesus’ fame on earth John 8:1-11; this month, tell God to connect you to an opportunity to solve a problem that will announce your destiny on earth. Speak to this All-knowing God, this month; Let Him locate and visit every secret place where your treasures are hidden, recover and put them in your hand..
