Dear Diary,

It’s a beautiful day 🌈☀️and I just can’t stop myself from smiling!😃😁 Ha-ha woohoo!🤸🏽‍♀️🤸🏽‍♀️🤸🏽‍♀️

I have been attending my church and loving it. No more drama.😇😁

But I had one struggle, my mind wandering during the sermons🤦🏽‍♀️. One minute I am listening intently and the next minute everyone is laughing and I realize I’ve missed something.😲

So, after every service, I would go to the sound desk and buy the message of the day to listen too later.

I spoke to Boss lady about it. Yeah, I talk to her about a lot of things now.😄😇

She recommended I buy a journal, not replacing you🙃. But a different one for church to take notes in. Something about listening and writing that keeps the mind alert, guess what? It worked. 😁 So, all my weekly purchases of CDs stopped. End of backstory.😃

I was leaving church today when behind me I heard rapid footsteps. I turned around to see what was up.

It was the sales desk guy. I know him because I was such a faithful customer. I had never spoken to him outside buying CDs.

“Stop please” He said as he waved, I looked to see who he was addressing.

“Me?”😳

He quickly caught up with me, panting…

“Yeah you, how are you?”

“I’m good Tx and you?” I couldn’t hide my confusion. What in the world did he want?💁🏽‍♀️

“I’m good” He said and then he smiled.😁

May God forgive me Diary, that was it😨. I heard nothing else🤯. I was just watching his lips move.

God will now say we are all created equal…🧐 but some are more equal than others, common, this bro is fine shaa!!😍😍

“So, what happened?” He was smiling, waiting for an answer to a question I knew not.😖

What?😰 OMG what had I missed? It had happened again! 🤦🏽‍♀️

“Eerm nothing happened” I said. I just hoped my response made some sort of sense🤭

He folded his arms across his chest and raised an eyebrow. “So, you just stopped buying CDs for no reason? This is the second week you haven’t come over to the sound desk.

He is noticed and was counting?😲

“I was worried something had happened to you.”

Dear diary, he was worried?😳

When you read in novels that a persons heart ‘melted’, they should forget that.

First my heart stopped💓. Then every cell in my body liquidized♨️ in an invincible puddle at my feet.💦

I was standing up straight by the sheer grace of God.😰

I just stared and I said nothing😳

“I need to get back. I’m so glad I saw you. Don’t rush off next Sunday ok? Ill change shifts. please wait for me.”😳

And he ran off, turned back once to wave, then disappeared.💫

I decided I wasn’t leaving that spot till next Sunday.😊☺️

It became a bit awkward because I was standing in the middle of the road.🛣️ Others were trying to get to their cars. I was ‘encouraged’ to move out of the way. 😩

They did not understand.😱

Diary, I just met the man I am going to marry.😍🤩
