Our God will always ruin the evil plans of the devil. For each time the enemy does something bad God steps in to bring something good out of it. Most times when the devil is working feverishly to display his wickedness, he is attempting to destroy something good that God has started.
When Nebuchadnezzar took David and his three friends among thousands of Hebrews who were deported to Babylon, he never guessed Daniel would become his Prime Minister. In fact the Babylonians tried to bring the Jews under subjection by trying to change their thinking by giving them a Chaldean education; their loyalty by changing their names and their lifestyle by changing their diet. This very plan brought Daniel into the lime light. By standing his ground, he revealed to these heathens that they had a living God. Whats more, Daniels’ predicament showed us that his problem- the lion, can sit down. Daniel 6:15-22
When you ask your problem to sit down, you will be in a better position to think, pray and receive wisdom to tackle it John 6:10. “And Jesus said, ‘Make the men sit down’. Our God gives in abundance. He takes whatever we can offer Him in time, ability or resources and multiplies it exceedingly beyond our wildest expectations. When you command your problem to sit down, not only will you overcome; God will give you miracles you least expected. Tell your problems to sit down so that you can have creative discussion, have an idea discussion. Tell your problem to sit down and join you in a musical discussion with the director of your destiny, because praise is one dish God cannot refuse nor resist.
Brethren, it is foolishness to give up on God, because He has not done things your way or at your own pace or time. Bitterness and hard heartedness can blind us to God’s power. How many of us have allowed the devil to cheat us, not once or twice? We claim to be Christians and read the Word of God, but are cheated because we do not accept the word whole or obey God completely. Receiving the full benefits of Gods plan for our lives requires us to receive and obey God’s commands fully. If we don’t follow God’s complete instructions we should not be surprised that His full benefits and blessings are not present. Whatever God loves and values satan will certainly attempt to destroy it.
The Lord our God wishes you the best every minute, every hour, every day and all your years here on earth. So his declaration in Psalm 65:11 is not mere lip service. God crowns our year with His goodness and our paths drop fatness. Therefore, it is not what we see that matters but what we believe. The world says, ‘unless I can see it or feel it, I will not believe’. But God says, ‘if you will believe it you will feel it. And indeed, if you will believe it, you will see it. Whose report will you believe? Who do you allow to pack your life’s Parachute? Because who you go to for support and encouragement will determine how far you will go in this race.
The company you keep determines your conduct and your conduct determines your character; your character can affect the choices you make which will ultimately affect your destiny. Who is your Old Prophet? Old prophet can represent a pseudo- Christian, a false brother or sister or a backsliding believer, a false prophet or spiritualist. And these abound today in our society. These men or women may have started by worshipping God in truth but became deceived to start watering down the truth or adding falsehood. You need not fret because the same God who created life in you can be trusted with the details of your life. The Lord our God can change your story no matter how tough the situation. He majors in the impossible. It is time to tell your problem, my friend sit down and see the abundance of God.
