Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 73:3, Genesis 16:5, 2 Timothy 1:7, Galatians 1:15, Ephesians 5:4, Philippians 1:3-5

Men and brethren, tragedies can alter the course of events, slow your breakthrough process or even damage your ship of testimonies but they cannot stop you from reaching your God ordained destination. Therefore, it is time to shatter barriers that is preventing you in achieving your destiny in a unique, inspirational, and supernatural way. God has promised that this miracle convention, whatever is needed for your destiny to be realised shall be given to you. By my spoken word today, be empowered in the name of Jesus. Hear me, Your destiny is what God has created you to be, right from your mother’s womb; Your destiny is God’s original plan before you were created; Your destiny is God’s divine purpose before you were created; Your destiny is God’s placement in your life; Your destiny is your assignment on earth; Your destiny is the picture that God had in His mind before He created you; In Jeremiah 1:5, God says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you”, before you were born I sanctified you, I ordained you a prophet to the nations”. Here this; One of the reasons many are stunted in destiny is that they have no vision. They absolutely can’t see from point A to point B in their lives, and point B is where their destiny lies. Today’s devotion will identify vision blockers, throne killers and progress killers and how you can step out from them. Men may have called you a thrash but today, you will discover the treasure in the trash.

Let me remind us that the entrance of jealousy, bitterness and bad-mouthing your neighbour is when you have no evidence of the dividends of Calvary. The Psalmist said “For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.” Psalm 73:3. So if you feel stuck right now in the place of destiny, it may mean you aren’t stepping out of these progress killers which can prevent your Treasure from shining out from the thrash.

Number One: Responsibility Dodgers. This is the sin that originated from Adam. Genesis 3:12. People of low minds tend to avoid responsibility through blaming other people. You must be responsible for your actions and speech. King Saul justified his actions through “acting-out” before the eyes of the people by draining the blood from the animals and setting up an altar—the first time he set up an altar. This teaches the egocentric trap of outward emanation before the onlooker 1 Samuel 14. Too many people have a habit of blaming their circumstances or mistakes on bad fate or bad luck. Too few will admit that their situation is a direct outcome of the choices they’ve made. In life, this is the foundation you need to correct in order to grow. You must accept your current situation, take responsibility for it, learn from it, make the necessary changes, and move forward. Genesis 16:5, Exodus 32:22-24, Genesis 27:36, 1 Samuel 15:21

Number Two: Pregnant with fear. Over time you might feel overwhelmed and trapped by boredom and fear. If you’re doing big things and pushing for your dreams, you are bound to encounter situations that scare you and make you feel uncomfortable. We must doubt our doubts and move forward with passion. Marianne Williamson wrote “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. You’re playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” Remember that the extent to which we sometimes allow fear to rule our lives is truly startling and unnecessary. Especially when you consider one very important fact about fear: It’s a total hallucination of your imagination. The fear of failure is the only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve. Therefore, don’t abandon your God, abandon your fear, and walk in FAITH. Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 56:3, 2 Timothy 1:7, Matthew 6:25-34, Deuteronomy 31:6

Number Three: Absence without leave on Your Calling. A calling is God’s personal, individual invitation to carry out the unique task he has for you. When you continue to ignore your calling, you lose the purpose of your existence. You become tasteless salt. Men and Brethren, what you seek, whether you realize it or not, is the actual feeling of being ALIVE and LIVING your life your own way. You don’t have to satisfy everyone else. You just have to find something to believe in – something that anchors you and keeps you looking forward, regardless of what others are doing or saying. You may be surprised to learn that your job is not your calling. Your job is an instrument that helps you carry out your calling. Sometimes, your job may be closely wrapped up in your calling or it may not. Sometimes all your job does is put food on the table, which gives you the freedom to go about your calling in a separate area. We often use our job or career to measure our success. If we make a lot of money, we consider ourselves successful. But God is not concerned with money. He is concerned with how you’re doing at the task he has given you. For it is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else’s life with perfection. Romans 12:6-8, Mark 10:45, Galatians 1:15

Number Four: Champion of Negativity. You must totally and completely avoid accepting negative pronouncement against your life either by you, your enemies or your close friends and families. It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see. Gen 13:14. Someone wrote a negative thing on my Facebook wall and I immediately deleted it and confronted him. The biggest wall you must climb is the one you have built in your mind. If you don’t control your attitude, then it will control you. Negative feelings are like weeds; if you don’t fully extract their roots, they will keep coming back. So take control of your destiny. Believe in yourself. Ignore those who try to discourage you. Delete them from your close friends list. Avoid negative people, places, things, and habits. Don’t give up, and don’t give in to consuming the garbage these negative sources are trying to feed you. Psalm 94:19, John 8:44, Proverbs 18:21, Ephesians 5:4

Number Five: Lacking Appreciation. One of the progress killers is ingratitude; when you don’t appreciate what you have, the people that are your destiny helpers and appreciating God. Pause for a moment. Breathe in slowly and deeply. Exhale. Feel the miracle of your breath. And say, “Thank you.” You probably woke up with a few aches and pains this morning, but you woke up. You’ve seen better days, but you’ve also seen worse. You might not have everything you want right now, but you have everything you need to move forward. Life isn’t perfect, but it sure is good. A lot of people have received miracles from our prayers but it sound strange to them to come back with a Testimony seed to say thank you. The commission is praying for you every day and blessing you with God’s word, have you ever said thank you? We have a mandate to give freely, no one will ask you here or on facebook to sow seeds to receive prayers but when you have received, it is for your advancement and future blessings to be appreciative. Philippians 4:6, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Luke 17:11-14, 1 Timothy 5:17, Hebrews 12:28-29, Philippians 1:3-5

Number Six: You keep worrying about a time that no longer exists. You can’t have a better today if you’re still thinking and worrying about yesterday. Whatever could have been or should have been, doesn’t matter. This moment is here and now for you to live. It’s okay to not have all the answers yet. In fact, you’ll never have ALL the answers. Just continue the journey, focus on the present, do you best, and trust the process. Worry replaced by Prayer equals Trust. Worrying Puts Your Focus in the Wrong Direction. Matthew 6:27-29, Proverbs 12:25, Matthew 6:30, Matthew 6:25

Number Seven: Seekers of happiness outside themselves. You keep looking for happiness outside yourself. Enlightenment is not the accumulation of knowledge; it is the full realization of who you already are. True wealth has nothing to do with material possessions; it is the surrender to an abundance that has no limit. What you seek is not somewhere else at some other time; what you seek is here and now, within you. The more you look for it outside yourself, the more it hides from you. Relax, remember the source of your deepest desires, and allow yourself to know their fulfilment. Philippians 4:4, Proverbs 3:13-18, Romans 5:2, “For I was envious at the foolish, [when] I saw the prosperity of the wicked.” Psalm 73:3

Number Eight: Sharp and Easy road: Any road without a roadblock leads nowhere. Our generation is looking for the easy route to make money, get promotion and get success that will not last. Men are still looking for the easy road. Someday you will look back on your life and realize that everything worthwhile you’ve ever accomplished initially challenged you. And that is how it should be, because big challenges often prepare ordinary people for extraordinary success. Every struggle arises for a reason – for experience or a lesson. A great journey is never easy, and no dose of adversity along the way is ever a waste of time if you learn and grow from it. Those who take the lazy way, the way of shortcuts, will be left behind. Number Nine: Holding back the Past: This is one of the greatest Progress killers- The Past. You must allow the past to pass away or you will soon become the past. You need to let go and move on 2 Corinthians 5:17. The reason for this is because too many Christians are bound up in their past – and as a result, they cannot fully live in their present. Before you can really start to move forward in your divine destiny with the Lord – you will first have to learn how to let your past fully go. Sometimes being strong and moving on are the only choices you have. There are some things in life that you may never completely get over. The best you may be able to do is get through them slowly. But that’s okay. The struggle forward is worth the effort. There’s still a lot of beauty left to be seen on the road ahead.
