Men and brethren, it takes understanding of the mysteries of the word and understanding of the ways of God to command supernatural victory over every battle we fight, and helps in bringing God into our situation. The attitude of seeking God daily in prayers will help us to fight back whatever that has hindered, disgraced and humiliated us. Therefore, today’s devotion is a continuation of the mysteries of praying in levels and praying according to the secrets revealed to us in the scriptures. God calls us to enjoy continual consciousness of his supreme greatness and beauty and worth, for those who truly seek God with all of their heart will be satisfied. This is not partial obedience, its full surrender; it’s not trying to squeeze God in, it’s about allowing Him to fully saturate every aspect of our lives.

The second level of prayer intensity is to ‘seek’. The bible says “seek, and you will find” Matt. 7:7. Right where you are, to seek is to locate or discover, for unless you locate your placement in life, which is your location through the direction of the Holy Spirit, you cannot possess your possessions. Again to seek is to endeavour to obtain or reach God to supply your needs according to His riches in glory. In other words, it means refusing to give up or to let go. Seeking may be painful! To take pains means to hold firmly or steadfastly to a purpose despite obstacles, warnings or setbacks. Indeed, diligent seeking is a consistent, constant effort to accomplish whatever is undertaken. There is a tenacity that God is looking for in our search for Him and it requires the law of seeking. The great promise to those who seek the Lord is that he will be found. “If you seek him, he will be found by you” 1 Chronicles 28:9. And when he is found, there is great reward. “Whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently seek him” Hebrews 11:6. God himself is our greatest reward. And when we have him, we have everything. Therefore, Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!

We must become doers of Gods word because heaven is in the business of changing lives and granting rewards to them that seek God. Here this, to be ignorant of your place in God’s plan guarantees a life of toiling and maximum frustration. The scriptures summed it up for a man that seek God “And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” Psalm 1:3 It can be concluded that only true seekers of God are permitted by divine principle to prosper. No wonder the scripture declared, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” Matthew 6:33. The criteria to have maximum impact in life and to live a life with honour and favour is to seek God!

Every day we hear of impossible circumstances for many families. The only way that this commission can encourage you is to tell you that God is faithful, what he did for A, he will do for B, but you need to stand firm on God’s promises. God is no respecter of persons. You need to seek the Lord, talk to Him every day, and then read and believe in the Word of God.

Are you standing firmly on the promises of God for the restoration of your marriage, career, business or education? What promises from God’s Word are you expecting! He will deliver you out of all your troubles. Are you facing many trials or fears today? Here the word from King David “I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.” Psalm 34:4-6

The Lord wants you to cry out to Him for His answers, for His divine intervention and deliverance from all your fears and problems. Secondly, the Lord hears your prayers. When the enemy is trying to torment you with fear of the unknown future regarding restoration of your marriage, regarding your business or whatever you have hoped for. Will you trust Him? You must doubt your doubts and trust God that when you seek Him, you will find Him. The secret of your life is based on what you do with the divine instructions you received from God. Therefore, seeking God with all of our heart, mind, and soul is a mark of the surrendered life. The surrendered life is not an option; it is the mark of someone who is genuinely filled with the Spirit of God. Jesus declared, “And all these things shall be added to you”. ‘These things’ are the things that make life comfortable; the food, the shelter, the protection and the good things of life.

God doesn’t want you to hold onto the past but rather He wants you to move forward in your future. Your human nature will make you focus on all your shortcomings and mistakes. But God’s will is that you would forget your mess-ups and push forward to what He has in store for your future. Even if your life was a real mess right now that doesn’t really matter. What’s important is not so much how you started but rather how you finish the race. “…forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead” Phil 3:13 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose.
