Declaration for September: Father God, this month of September 2020 is declared my month of Praise. It shall be a season where the battles in my life that appear obviously mightier than my strength, and tougher than my wisdom will bow to fearful praise. Father, you dont “try” to take over; you actually take over and when you take over, my battle is over. As I praise you this month, grant me fearful blessings, and take over my battle, disgrace my mockers, end the sickness that has troubled the world. I declare, I will never experience a setback again because I will be going from strength to strength; from exploits to exploits; I will be going from glory to glory in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Weekly Partners Declaration: This week marks entrance to my special season for miraculous encounters. The week shall deliver to me everything good, every total package and total health. It is my week of honour and coronation because I am born to rule and control creations within my grace jurisdiction. I am not limited; I am not in restriction but flowing in enlargement and in abundance. This is my week where those who mocked me in the past shall celebrate me. As I partner with this commission, it shall be a season of laughter and celebrations in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Exodus 23:25-26, Exodus 3:21-22, John 5:17, John 4:34, Luke 22:24-27
Men and brethren, serving only ourselves and our own self-interests never leads anywhere positive for anybody. It is a privilege to serve and there are blessings of service. Hear me, why God blesses you is for His kingdom sake, for the sake of your family members and for the sake of your village; but so many of us are blind to it; so many of us are so selfish. All we want is how to gather more. “When you Get what you Can; and Can what you Get; and Sit on the Can; and Guard the Can; you run into a life of struggling, a life of poverty, a life of defeat. Here this, it is not where you are that determines who you are. It is who you are that determines where you are. Exodus 3:21-22. Right where you are, service means to put your special gifts, ability and finances to the good of the kingdom and humanity. “But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” John 5:17. Again, He said, “”Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work” John 4:34. As you serve, may God remember you for honour and for double miracle this season.
Kingdom life without worship and service will lead to dryness, poverty and oppression. But worship experience empowers our mind to drive our gifts and abilities. For instance, our text instructed that if we serve Him, He will bless our bread, our water, take away miscarriages and destroy every barrenness etc. Miscarriage means disappointment, while barrenness is inability to exercise ability. A combined force of worship and service will dismantle every demonic yoke, pains and network of evil. I declare, every consistent partner shall receive a miracle today.
In the Kingdom of God, we are not only spectators but participants. We must have service in the Kingdom. We have been called to have a special ministry in the body of Christ. Here we don’t worry about ranks and status but focus on our service to God. Luke 22:24-27
God’s ultimate concern daily is the fulfillment of divine plan for the righteous. He offers His will and expects the righteous to respond. In Isaiah 55:1, the Scripture says, “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” In the natural, price is determined and weighed by value but in the supernatural, no one can measure or quantify value. It does for you what your natural strength, money and ability cannot do for you. Yes, we commit our gifts, material blessings and money into the service of the kingdom of God but they are not the basis or measures of our kingdom blessings.
For instance, your money, no matter the size, cannot save your soul. Christ died on the Cross and resurrected from the dead to save your soul and redeem your destiny from eternal decay. Your money cannot buy you children; your money cannot determine the span of your life and your money cannot determine the sex of children you will give birth to. Money applied to the kingdom is only a measure of your faithfulness that connects and commits God to your situation. Therefore, miracle is value that money cannot buy.
Hannah went to the house of God to pray. She offered her prayers, made her vow but the blessing of Pastor Eli was needed before heaven could determine her petition. She knew the secret of going to the pastor, she behaved herself, she was insulted but refused to be offended and she waited until the pastor decreed a blessing on her. When God honoured the prayers of Eli, she came back to redeem her vow. A visit to the office of a real man of God is a visit to God. Heaven rewards such effort with speed. Hannah prayed but Eli’s approval and confirmation was what brought down the miracle.
We are called for a holy and noble purpose! You were put on earth to make a contribution. You were not created just to consume resources, to eat, breathe, and take up space. God designed us to make a difference with our life. We were created to add to life on earth, not just take from it. God wants you to give something back. This is God’s purpose for your life, and it is called your “ministry” or service.
You were created to serve God- the Bible says, in Eph. 2:10b. God has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do” Col. 3: 23-4; Matt. 25: 34. These good deeds are your service. Whenever you serve others in any way, you are actually serving God (Eph. 6:7). What God told Jeremiah “Before I made you in your mother’s womb, I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work” Jer. 1:5. You were placed on this planet for a special assignment.
You were saved to serve God, the Bible says. “It is He who saved us and chose us for His holy work, not because we deserved it but because that was His plan” 2 Tim. 1:9. God redeemed you so you could do His “holy work.” You are not saved by service, but you are saved for service. In God’s Kingdom you have a place, a purpose, a role, and a function to fulfill. This gives your life great significance and value. We need workers, we need helpers and we need volunteers. Find something you can do that will bring blessings and multiply blessings to you. By serving God’s people, you too have become a destiny helper to someone else. Let me summarize by stating the nine characteristics of godly service and how godly service is identified in the life of a believer:
Number One: Motivated and Encompassed by Love: Godly service must be motivated by love, and our entire being is encompassed by it. We are commanded by Jesus, in Matthew 22:37, 38, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.” You must be eager to signalize your gratitude by devoting your ability to God’s service. This love goes deeper than head knowledge; it goes deeper than an emotional, warm feeling. It involves both our heads and our hearts. It involves our very natures and souls.
Number Two: A Humble Heart: Godly service must come from a humble heart. God does not ask us to purchase His favor by any costly sacrifice. He asks only for the service of a humble, contrite heart, which has gladly and thankfully accepted His free gift. Isaiah 66:2, Psalm 51:17 The one who receives Christ as his personal Saviour has in his possession the salvation provided by Christ. And he is never to forget that as he has freely received, so he is freely to impart. We must know that it is God who is working in us to will and to do. We must know that without the blessing and transforming power of God, we would be incapable of rendering godly service. With this attitude, we will want to glorify only God through any service we perform.
Number Three: Service unto the Lord: Our service must be as unto the Lord and not unto men. Service can be very tiring, and it can be discouraging when our service is not appreciated. It can be frustrating when we do not see the benefits or results that we expect. Because of this, our service must be given in light of eternity and the God we serve. We must ask, as did David, “And who [then] is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the Lord?” 1 Chronicles 29:5. By consecrating our service unto the Lord and not unto men, it can then be a joy, and it will be blessed of the Lord. God gives His Spirit to those fully committed to His service
Number Four: Christlike Actions: Our service should be Christlike in both our actions and in the duration of our commitment to service. We must be committed to serve as Christ did, and we must be committed to serve as long as we have breath in us. “Accepting Christ as a personal Saviour, and following His example of self-denial, this is the secret of holiness. God exalted Christ above every name that is named. But Christ first reached to the depths of humiliation, working out in behalf of the human race a perfect character, and drawing men and women to God by His unselfish ministry. He has set an example that all who engage in His service are to follow. The more Christlike our efforts for God, the wider will be their influence for good, and the greater the work they will accomplish. Christ gave all that you and I might be saved eternally, and He continues even today to minister in the sanctuary for each of us. We must be willing to give all, so that others and ourselves will be saved. Our efforts cannot cease.
Number Five: Correct Motives: Our service must be given based upon correct motives. This type of service is truly unselfish and is motivated by a love for souls. We cannot be giving in order that we will receive. Let all engage in missionary effort from pure, unselfish motives, co-operating with one another and with God, working not because of personal ambition or for the praise of men, but because they long to act a part with Christ in the work of saving perishing souls. In Christ’s service, everything depends upon the motives prompting believers to action. Those who labor for the love of souls will advance His work in our world. Our prayer is that, God will help us to have this unselfish love for lost humanity.
Number Six: Cheerful Service: Too often, we as Christians are long faced, gloomy, not at all representing the joy that is in the Lord and His service. Service done for our Lord should always be given cheerfully, not because we have been coerced, begged, or shamed into service. We are to render to God cheerful service.
Number Seven: Willingly Given: Service must be willingly given and marked by self-denial to be effective for the Lord. When our service is not willingly given and must be forced, it is not the kind of service that God desires. It is stated like this: “No one has been created in Christ Jesus for mere self-enjoyment. He who lives unto himself is not a Christian; for self-denial and cross-bearing are the portion of every true follower of Christ. We have been bought with a price, in order that we may render willing service to our Master. Every hour that we have failed to acknowledge Christ as our personal Saviour, we have robbed God; for Christ purchased us by the ransom of his own blood. The Christian cannot serve the world, or yield to the claims of any power, relation, or society, that will make him deny Christ, dishonor God, and prove disloyal to his holy law. The Christian is to surrender himself unreservedly to God as his purchased possession. God claims him for himself, and will impart to the believer special favors, enabling him to be complete in Christ, more than conqueror through him that hath loved him.
Number Eight: More Than Money: Service must be personal, and it must involve more than just our money. No other person can do the service for God and mankind that is entrusted to us. God has a job for each of us. By our churches there is a work to be done of which many have little idea, a work as yet almost untouched. ‘I was an hungered,’ Christ says, ‘and ye gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me in: naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me; I was in prison, and ye came unto Me.’ Matthew 25:35, 36. Some think that if they give money to this work, it is all they are required to do; but this is an error. Donations of money cannot take the place of personal ministry. It is right to give our means, and many more should do this; but according to their strength and opportunities, personal service is required of all.
Number Nine: Heartfelt Service: The last characteristic of service is that it is to be heartfelt. “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9, 10. This kind of heartfelt belief is real, is seen by others, and makes a difference in their lives. Notice what the prophet says: God calls for men and women to be laborers together with him, to be workers who are sound in faith, pure in heart, and single in purpose. They should work to glorify God by the saving of souls that are lost. God requires heart-service. A service of form, lip-service, is wholly inefficient in the work of converting souls to God. A service that comes not from the heart is as sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal. The heart must be stirred with the co-operative energy of the Holy Spirit; then standing in full view of the cross of Calvary by faith, the worker can communicate to others the divine inspiration of his theme. From a full treasure-house he can bring forth things new and old, which will stir the hearts of his hearers, and convicted, they will cry out, ‘What must I do to be saved?’
Finally my brethren, everything God tells us to do is for our good. Whether it’s direction you get in His Word or something He’s specifically put in your heart for your situation in life, the absolute best thing you can ever do is obey Him promptly and completely
