Gen 47:15-18, 27, 1 Cor 10:31, 1 Pet 4:11, Phil 4:19, Gen 41:32-38

Men and brethren, while others succumb to the messiness and unpredictability of the human experience, make a conscious choice to be the calm in the chaos and to learn and practice kingdom strategies for success. “And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.” Gen 47:15

Right where you are, don’t allow the world to define you but let the word define your world. Men who run away from confronting their confrontation, never becomes successful. Don’t be a half baked believer, invest in knowledge, and invest in your life because you can never make a dividend where you don’t have an investment. There are lots of people who are in marriages that they don’t invest in; jobs that don’t invest in; relationship they have no investment into; schools that they don’t even care for or valued. How do you expect to reap a harvest? This is seed sowing time; harvest is coming. You cannot sow and reap all at the same time. You need patience and some dedication and a revelation from heaven daily. I declare, whatever that is needed for your future to flourish as you sow today, may it bring you double honour in Jesus name. 

The bible says that Joseph was living in the kingdom where money failed. Businesses failed; it was a kingdom of failure but the children of Israel were living in abundance. Gen 47:15-18, 27. I believe in Hard-work; but hard-work without Hard-Praise will result in Hard-labour without gratitude because something inside of you will want to take glory that belongs to God. 1 Cor 10:31, 1 Pet 4:11, Phil 4:19. The Egyptians had money but it was useless. Don’t envy those that plunder the nations wealth by corruption. I see them as poor men. Why? Poverty is cash without gratitude, the men you think are really rich in the sight of God are poor because they can have all the money in the world and not be happy, and have broken families; and have diseases that is killing them by slow motion; but a man that understand the arithmetic of Praising God shall have divine health; his household may not have it all as per human understanding but with God on their side their destination is assured.

Don’t have an illusion of what is going to make you significant. Be significant by how you see yourself in the kingdom of men and women who thinks otherwise. I have learnt that courage is feeling the fear and doing the impossible anyway. You cannot have real courage unless there is something you are really afraid of. Joseph had a game plan even while in prison; he was not only a dreamer, an interpreter of others dream, he was also a planner. He had the answer to the dream of the king. Gen 41:32-38. May God grant you a rvelation of your purpose that will take you to the Palace in grand style. 

Do you have answer to dream issues at your work place, in your marriage because to dream is not enough? Every breakthrough moment demands and commands a definite strategy.

In the process of time and experiences of moving from one problem to another, Joseph developed himself for something that will last. Do you have a fear that you are irrelevant, that you are worth nothing, that you are not enough, rich enough, happy enough, young enough? You must come up with a solution to solve your issues by coming up with a solution of your life through the help of the Holy Ghost. You must not come out only with enthusiasm but also with skills and wisdom to face your challenges.

If you are going to succeed in anything, if you are going to have a breakthrough;

Number One: You must stop blaming others; don’t transfer your disappointments and frustration to members of your family. A lot of people have curses upon their lives that are caused by their parents and siblings, just because they were not doing well. Learn from Joseph. Gen 45:5 He saw his brothers’ action as the vehicle that took him faster to his destiny. Someone here is breaking record this season.

Number Two: Be very clear about what you want and don’t want for your life. Clarity produces excitement. Excitement produces momentum. Momentum produces behavioural change. Behavioural change produces different results and eventually, the internal vision becomes an external reality. Joseph refused the advances of Potiphar’s wife, it is not what he wanted. Genesis 39

Number Three: You need strategies; you need to know how to get things done. You need to know how do I make this money; how do I turn this shop to place people will come; how do I turn my talent to finance; how do I make a difference with my children. Joseph was a hardworker, you cannot be placed incharge when you don’t know how to take charge.

Number Four: Refuse mediocrity: When others decide to live a life of second-best, of compromise and of under-achievement simply because they are (1) controlled by fear (2) always looking for the magic pill or shortcut and (3) not prepared to do the tough stuff. Hear this; people who always take the easy option are destined for mediocrity. Sometimes Pain is a great teacher. Not always what we want, but sometimes what we need.

Number Five: Be an innovator, not an imitator. This is because imitation leads to limitation. Our world is full of copycats. Use your imagination to create your tomorrow. Sometimes it’s a good idea to build your own team rather than join someone else’s. Don’t let your fear stand in the way of your potential to create, innovate or lead. Joseph was a leader even while in Prison. He learnt the skill of leadership and eventually he was made one. Whatever you are going through is your one-man school with God to learn the mechanics and the wisdom of bringing down your Goliath

Number Six: Attempt the impossible: Do what most won’t. If you want to achieve what most people won’t then don’t do what they do. If you want to be like the majority, then do what they do. Producing different results comes from doing different things. Simple really. And effective. Most people won’t persevere, won’t finish what they start, won’t find the good, won’t do what it takes, won’t question their long-held beliefs, won’t be solution-focused, won’t do what scares them and won’t “be the change” they want to see in their world. Choose to be different.

Number Seven: You need the right story. If your story is lousy story, you will never find a good strategy or you will never use the strategy well. Jesus looked for a strategy to announce his ministry to his own clan, his own village and he did the unusual in the usual. The scripture says, when Jesus came to Nazareth, he opened the book to the right history that will grant him the right story. Luke 4: 16-21. May You story become the testimony that men will desire. Ans may your story carry you to the Palace. 

What is your story? You cannot embrace your destiny and your future if you are holding on to your history. You must release it. Don’t let your shouting down by people or your shutting down on yourself shut you out of destiny. Therefore, you must divorce your belief system and come up with a new one that will make your story marketable.

Number Eight: You need a quality state of mind; an enthusiastic and different state of mind because the state of mind you are will determine how your story will end up. Jesus announced his ministry to his kinsmen because something was in the inside that will not keep quiet; the same passion that took him to the manifestation of his ministry “Jesus returned in the Power of the Spirit” Luke 4:14. Men and brethren, at that level it was impossible for anyone or anything to stop him from believing, from speaking forth, from achieving his strategy. When you are in that state, nothing will be wrong in your life.
