Marriage was given by God as a sacred union in which one man and one woman are brought together to complement and fulfill each other. An understanding of this basic fact will protect a couple from many marital problems. Husbands and wives who realize that God has joined them into a single entity will not foolishly try to hurt each other, for they know they would only be hurting themselves.
What you love is what you talk about. Spouse, when last did you celebrate your partner with gifts, or when did you take him or her out for occasion of appreciation? The key to lasting relationship is when you never stop courting.
If you spend time chasing other people’s husband. You have placed a curse upon yourself. Don’t expect that man to love you all your life because what you sow is what you shall reap. When tempted by married man, run for your life.
A man’s wife is his partner and not his property! Your wife is not your slave.
God wants your marriage to be permanent. He expects us to look for ways to heal our marriages rather than for excuses to dissolve them. Don’t chicken out of your marriage due to crises. I declare, Your marriage shall last in Jesus name.
Your ‘ministry as a wife’ is to ensure that the man does not fail in his duties and that the family system does not break down. In other words, you are there in the family to help lift the weight not add to it; to be a helper not a destroyer, castigator or betrayer. If you are a stubborn and naughty wife who refuses to submit to her husband, your problem is simply lack of commitment!
Finally, to fulfil God’s purpose for your marriage the first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Number two: To be a keeper and a solution provider requires the grace of God and to access that grace, you must be born again. If you want to be born again you need to say this prayer:
“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today as a sinner. Forgive me of my Sins. I believe You died and rose on the third day for my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”
